Hi All, I just finished cooking a batch of the good stuff. I'm here to check out Mercedes and possibly trade my beat up Aztec for one. I'm interested in purchasing a 2006 E320 CDI. From what I've read this is a good year to purchase as it still has the iron horse inline 6 cylinder and can run on 3rd world diesel, not just ULSD. What is the general consensus on Bluetec, specifically the 2007 E350 Bluetec? Is it as reliable?
Back to cooking the blue stuff. I'll be handing out free samples at the next MB event.

I thought you leased a Chrysler....
I only heard good things about diesel Mercedes. A friend o mine bought a one owner 1998 E300D with over 200k miles and it has zero problems. Diesels can be finicky though with glow plugs, but the problems seem to be minor.

I do now. But I want to get a foreign ride for long highway bootlegging missions. It is tough to find a '06 E320 CDI in this country! There's only like ten across the entire US! I would love to find a low mileage one but that seems impossible. I'm only seeing ones with 80K or more miles. Ideally I'd like a 2006 E320 CDI, black on black, with around 50K miles.
