I currently use the (pretty lame) "tele track" traffic service on teleaid (it let's you put "commutes" in on the web site and then check for traffic problems by pressing the "i" button and saying "traffic").

Does the COMAND II system on my (soon to be aquired) replacement car have any nifty traffic features?

Nope. Not in the states, anyway. I read somewhere that infrastructure for traffic information system exists in Europe but not here.
