Rough idle
my 2006 E320 CDI with 83K miles, started having a rough idle at cold start. Once warmed up it smooths out. I changed the air filter, Oil & filter and fuel filter. It still seems the same. It is throughing no codes,Any ideas? I was thinking maybe something like the egr but don't know how to check it and they cost to much to change it just to check.

Out Of Control!!
Wow without faults you are really chasing the "it's gotta be this or that"
You have experienced that syndrome already with replacing items that did not resolve the issue.
The problem is a bad glow plug, injector or control module among other things would produce what you describe as a rough idle, but you would know that through a fault.
I have the diagnostic tools therefore it is easy to do an engine scan to help in isolating the problem------what do you do----continue to hunt and peck or get a scan. Choose wisely

Crawl under the car and look to see if there is rust color fluid anywhere. Mine was dried. It was hydraulic fluid from the left motor mount. Rough idle as stated above could be anything, but see if it's a mount. I have a 2005 and mine just went.
Also, a bad glow plug could happen without throwing a code immediately. Mine was tested bad at the dealer a few weeks before I got a CEL. I had already ordered the set from Autohausaz and got it a few days after the code popped.

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll check the mounts and just keep checking things. LOL first time I wish there was a code popping up…
