Facelift European License Plate Holder
I have a really crappy chrome license plate holder for my euro plate which looks really cheap and terrible the more I think about it. This is not a debate on a euro vs. non euro plate thread, I just need to know: where can I get a contoured plate holder and frame for my facelift 2007 W211. I am sure they are out there since the European market had to have had these for the W211. Thanks.

Well here in Norway we got some nice licence plate holders made in stainless steel but the store that sells them dont ship outside of Norway.

Yeah plus I bet it's very expensive with customs and all =\ do the cars come with stock black holders or no? What are the Norwegian laws regarding front license plates?

Well there isnt any specific law,licence plates here in Norway are made after EU-standard measures,but i've seen some US imported cars with US-shaped licence plates,also law says that you must have licence plate both in front and in the back,if im right in US you dont have to have the licence plate in front.

Here in Colorado they were trying to pass a law through congress that would get rid of the front license plate law. As I understand it, the week that they were debating the bill there was a hit and run accident where a man was killed jogging. The front plate left an impression on a snow bank leading to an arrest - thus the bill didn't pass by a long shot. One moron and tragic case ruins it for the rest of us. Personally, regardless of the law I'd rather run NO front plate but they already drilled into it... so now I'm just hiding damage.
