I just got my replacement E500 with Nav.
I find it bizarre that a radio manufactured in the 21st century would not have RDDS. I know it's a mostly useless (and often annoying) feature, but come on.

While the RDDS might be useless.. ENJOY the CDtext feature of the NAV car WITH CD changer.. I have created CD's for my changer with CD text too.. and the CD title and SONG show up on the command screen while it's playing.. replaces the CD# and the Track # on the screen.
VERY TRICK... I NEED to take some pictures.. OH and if you hit the MAGAZINE button.. all the CD's in the changer show up (CD1, CD2, Cd3, etc) AND the TITLE of the CD too (that's why the CD's are listed vertically while in the pre-NAV they were HORIZONTALLY oriented).

If you have the NAV '03 E, YES it's in the manual.. but in the COMMAND supplement not the thicker E class manual. I'll try to get some pix today.
Yes, it's CD's I burned... I couldn't find any I bought with it.. and most at the stores do NOT have it.
