Aftermarket Stereo help

I have an 04' E320 and pulled my stereo out today... Guess I should have researched a bit more before ordering a bunch of parts that now seem to be useless to me.

The harness behind the deck is just the 2 fiber optics wires (orange) and a few smaller wires (I think 4)...

I was planning to install a Kenwood NAV unit, subwoofer and amp but it seems as though this is not going to happen very easily... I've been searching for about 2 hours now and can't seem to find much information.

Can anyone lead me to a link or possibly help?

Pretty bummed out, ordered a dash kit, antenna adapter, steering wheel control adapter and harness... Now I have a bunch of stuff am just going to put the stereo back in. Bummed out

Any help would be much appreciated. As of right now I have about $1200 worth of audio paper weights sitting in my garage

Most likely you will need to get a second amp, and power the in car speakers using that. So then the only thing remaining from factory stereo is the speakers (with everything else aftermarket).

There is a thread somewhere that shows the speakers wires in the trunk that you can connect to the second amp (in telematics forum I think, or it might be benz world forum), search more and you'll find it.

Post pictures when you're done

Thanks, yes I have purchased a 4 channel amp for my interior speakers... That is exactly what I am looking for is wiring colors found at the amp so I can bypass it to an aftermarket amp. Guess ill keep looking or if someone has a link, please share.

Thanks
