Voice Activation Rocks, Literally!!!
Well, there are a lot of nits to complain about. But, there are a lot of really wonderful things about the E and especially my replacement with navigation and voice activation.
I am especially impressed with being able to control the audio with voice activation. If I am listening to the radio (even while using the navigation or the "map" function of just seeing where I am at all times), I can change stations by pulling the voice activation stalk and calling out the station frequency!!! I literally can rock without looking away from the road.
Dialing the phone by number or stored name is equally impressive and far safer than any other approach to using the phone in the car. You pull the stalk and tell the system what you want to control by voice (audio or phone) and then give one of many possible commands.
Voice activation, like all the rest of this beautiful car is not perfect, but it is really great. Thanks for delivering on this MB!!!
