W211 E or W209 CLK?

Current: '19 E450 Cabriolet - Past: '19 C300 Coupe, '12 SLK350, '16 E350, '14 C250 (x2), '09 CLK350
W211 E or W209 CLK?
I was initially looking at getting a W209 CLK, somewhere around 50 or 60k in miles, and I'm wondering after doing some research about their reliability.
It appears from my initial research that some W211 Es share the balance shaft issue.
Anyone have any experience or opinion about which might be the more reliable choice- the E or the CLK? The CLK looks great but I don't want to resent it if it's unreliable!
All thoughts appreciated.

Good day! I have both cars you mentioned at the moment and both have been reliable so far. (Knock on wood) you cant go wrong either way but make sure you get an independent check-up to see if theres anything wrong with the car before buying.
Its just a matter of what you need. A four door sedan or a two door coupe?
