M272 Serial Number Location
Hello mates,
I'm helping a friend figure out his car's weird history; a 2006 E350 with full face-lift conversion (understandable once you read below).
I looked up his VIN on EPC and it gave me a different Number than the one that's printed on the car's official record. Where can i see it live?
We know the car has been in two frontal accidents, yet the quality of the paint and the engine bay look brand new expect for a tiny spot where paint is a bit different in color. It drives straight as well, not a single sign of misalignment.
Should he be concerned that his car has a different engine? Moreover does swapping out an Engine require a trans change as well?
He's had the car for 3 years now, driven it for around 10k Miles and didn't encounter any issues at all besides regular wear and tear items (brakes, oil). The car has 68K Miles Now. Even though it's a salvage no mechanics or even the dealer was able to tell it was in two accidents.
