In case any of you have not seen the "Spy Photos" of the new W211 E Class, check this link out :

I think it looks pretty good too. Interior looks nice as well. Another thing I really like is the design of the gauge's, I just wish they would give us more info like oil pressure. If you have seen the R129 SL's gauge's you know what im talking about. It also seems that MB is moving toward rotary knobs for some of the HVAC and radio controls just like in the updated 2002 M-class. Sorry for the big pics.
Also I heard MB has addressed some of the concerns that they have been using cheap materials in some of their latest cars, so the interior of the W211 should be of very high quality.

Those are all the pics I have. Sombody posted these pics at mercedesshop.com
The first gauge looks like a clock to me too, it really doesn't belong there. I have a watch for the time. I want more valuable info like oil pressure, oil, temp, coolant temp, etc... I don't want to scroll up and down a little screen to find these things, they should be right in front of me.

Call me crazy, but it looks just like a Lexus GS430. Lexus has always copied Mercedes, perhaps they got spy pics of the new E class before they came out with there new GS. Either way though, I don't like it. It looks like a bug, I love the traditional mercedes look of the 4 circular headlights like on the CLK, current E class, etc.

It looks pretty good in the pictures, but I must admit it has a bit of a japanses feel to it. But, it prob. looks a lot better in person, so I'll reserve judgement till then. When is the official release date for this car?
