Exclamation How do you change the Shift Linkage Bushing (Automatic Transmission)?

I've tried searching but haven't come up with anything. Does anyone know how to change the shift linkage bushing on a 05 E500 4Matic? I assume it's the same or similar to other w211 models.

I attached a picture of the bushing and clip (aka shift rod pin lock) needed for the task.

If you want to do the job correctly then put the transmission in D, put the car on a lift, use the special tool to remove/install the metal clip fastener, use the special tool to remove/install the old bushing----if you do not have a lift or special tools, buy two or three sets because you will ruin at least one set trying to pry on the metal clip and push on the bushing!!
