2009 e350 navigation upgrade to COMAND system
Hello, i have a 2009 e350 and am thinking of upgrading my COMAND system to include navigation. I was told i can send my COMAND system to a shop and have the following part installed "2009~2011 USA OEM Mercedes NTG2.5 Navigation Hard Drive" It would then be programmed and would just need to plug n play for full functionality. Does anyone know if this is a valid solution? Before I commit i am wondering if anyone else has had this done and whether it is feasible. I've also heard that i may need to replace the entire comand unit but this option seems a lot more cost effective. Please advise. Thanks.
