03 e320 4matic, battery died, now radio is dead, no power???
I have a 2003 E320 4MATIC. The battery died and I needed to replace it. When I was done I found the radio was dead. No power. No lights, nothing. Checked fuse in fuse area, nothing blown. If the radio takes a "security code" to activate it how do I punch in the numbers if the radio has no power? Does the radio have a fuse on the back of it? Any help would be great! Thanks

You have to determine why there is no voltage at the radio---first push the on off button a couple of times----does it come on---if not you have to pull the radio, remove the connector and test for voltage at the connector--if voltage---radio bad--if no voltage---now you are in for some diagnostic time and yes it will cost money

SDS check should give definitive answer – easiest diagnostic method at this point is to check fuses for all MOST-ring components.
Interior fuse panel - CD changer f26, radio f28
Rear SAM (located behind left trunk panel) - navigation processor f3, audio gateway f6
