Wheel Info

Hi Peeps:

Took delivery of an '04 E320 4matic. Very smooth car.

Anyone know the wheel specs on this car? All I know is that it's shod with 225/55/16's. Anyone know bolt pattern, hub, width specs?

Is there any reference page which shows wheel compatibility among other MB years and models. Looking to purchase a set of MB rims for snow tire purposes. Wondering if I can make use of rims from C-classes, other E-classes, etc.

Thanks!

Nate

The bolt pattern is 5x112 for all Mercedes models. The only difference are the bolt sizes and offsets. Since the new E-class is the only MB that uses 14mm bolts with offsets in the ET30's range (ET37 to be exact), you wont have a lot of choices. The S-class uses 14mm bolts as well, but their offsets are ET44-46, the SL uses 14mm bolts too, but their offsets are ET25-28.

You should ask your local parts dept and see if there is any other 16's available for your car. If you can find one, let me know (with part number) and I can get them for you at a better price.

Yo, Big Daddy...

What type of tires did your E320 4MATIC come with? No appearance package (16's), correct?

Congrats! How's she drive?

Harris, thanks for the info. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the offer too.

NuB, yep, no AP, stock as she comes (only option was HK sound; although I seem to have made a mistake by not ordering the bi-xenons). Car came with Continentals. Can't recall which model tire though. Really can't say if I like 'em or dislike 'em since she's still in the break-in period.

The engine is silky smooth. Ride is like butter. I thought it'd be on the soft side, but it's a little firmer than I had expected (which is good). Would've been nice to have an E500 though; I'm sure you can't wait for yours
