Raced corvette...
I'm impressed with the power of E.
Over the weekend, I was waiting for a light and a Corvette pulled up along side...I knew I wasn't going to win, but wanted to see how I'd hang. I was suprised how my E did. We both took off and at the same time, he pulled ahead, but I was able to trail him...as we came up to traffic and I was actually able to get along side until I backed off.
That was the first time I wished I had an E55...I would have killed him.

If it was a C5 with automatic and 2.73 gears...they are not that quick. My C5 with 2.73 and automatic stock couldn't even chirp the tires. Did 0-60 G-Tech and only got 5.4sec. After Stage II Heads/Cam, 3.42 gears, 3500 stall converter, Long Tube headers, air induction, exhaust and all bolt ons....it was much quicker. Ran 4.1 (0-60mph) on G-Tech and 12.2 in the 1/4 miles with street tires. Wish I ran it with Drags before I sold it!

Wow!! The 500's acceleration is incredible. Good to know we can pull ahead of most cars and not be embarrassed by the likes of the vettes and others.
