Anybody's E-class pulling to the right?
#2
Mine was fine until the dealer performed an alignment after my E500's defective steering box was replaced... then it drifted to the right.
It took me two service visits for them to get it right, and now it's fine.

My does this also....
There was a topic on this...I think it's a problem alot of people have. One person said that it's a safety feature so you don't crash into on coming traffic. But what about the trees?

When I complained about it, I had to take a drive with the shop foreman to show him the problem which, hysterically, he throught was normal... in fact, he told me the AMG vehicles are terrible with their drifting, that they go "all over the road". I guess he was trying to make me feel fortunate that my car could be worse.
After I told the service advisor that my ride with the foreman was really a waste of time, and that I wanted the "tracking" to be straight like it was when I took delivery of the car, he must have ragged on the guy to fix it the way I wanted it. I think he also felt nad for me since I've had so many problems with the car.
So keep on them if they give you the story of "that's the way these cars are".

PsychoE55,
You should have a look at the E55 forum as several others have had this problem (myself included), and there supposedly is a fix for this.
I just got my car back from the dealer last night, and they have installed a "camber kit" to address the problem. I was expecting them to tell me that everything was fine and no corrections were needed.
Anyway, I've only driven about 40 miles since then, and so far, it seems a little better, but not quite fixed. At the same time, we had rain and lots of wind yesterday, and that could be affecting my perception also.
I will be monitoring it over the next couple of days to be sure that it is still pulling (as opposed to following the crown of the road), but as of now, I'm not convinced that the problem has been resolved.
