e500 wagon srs issue
hey guys
my e500 wagon has its srs light on. my passenger seat functions are all working well except that it won't go backwards it reclines and goes forward but no backward motion. might this be the reason for the srs light? any ideas why only that one motion doesn't work?

The two issues are not related---sounds like you have a bad seat motor and possibly a faulty seat occupied sensor-----both are NOT identifiable via the handy dandy OBD reader---you will need factory diagnostics or equal to eliminate the guess work!! I know it will cost some money!!

maybe I was wrong when i said c3 because I'm not working off the tablet but the ibm t30. I've given up Ill sell it to someone who can put it to use.
