Exclamation Driver side sagging

Hey guys, I have an 03 E500 with 130,000 miles, which I lowered with links by about 1" all around. When I was heading home from class all of a sudden I felt the car get stiffer and I was scraping every bump. Upon inspection I saw that the driver side was lower than the passenger side; I mean low as in the fenders are covering the tires. I have no idea what could've caused that. Maybe the Arimatic suspension went out on only the drivers side? Which I don't think, because even then I would've gotten the "Stop, Car too low" message. Hopefully you guys can help me out, any input would be appreciated.

When did it start to sag? Right after you installed the links?

I bet one of the links fell/came off. Jack up the car and inspect the links

Sorry I forgot to say this,
I've had the links installed for about a month now, they've given me no problems at all. the ride height was always consistent until today

I agree with Jandmtv. I'm sure one of your links come off.

I looked at the link, its fine, its still attached. Now im blaming the Airmatic strut.

But could only the front driver strut cause the whole driver side to sag?

When you turn on the car, does it rise back up?

I just read your op again, since you didn't get a car too low warning, it might be the ride height sensor that's gone out. You really should take the car to someone with star das to diagnose. But check for blown fuses in the usual areas just to be sure.

I just got that warning this morning, after letting the car run the warning went away. Yeah, that may be it too. If only I knew somewhere I could take it to haha.

Now every time I start the car the "stop, car too low" message appears.

I've concluded that the suspension height sensor is to blame. I took out the link and made it shorter, this in theory would raise the car; which it didn't. Has anyone had any issues with the sensor? I really hope its that haha.
