Am i asking to much $ ??????
Selling my factory 16" MB rims with tires
I posted them on Craigslist and Ebay a few months now and no one had called, I'm asking $450. Is that to much?

I don't think price is bad at all given that you have tires on them. I just think that there's really not much of a demand for stock 16s, as they're kinda not-so-desirable anymore. Good luck though.

Yeah I can see that the demand isn't there, but I agree that is a fair price for a set of 16s in good condition with tires. I'm sure someone will pick them up as a winter set though (if you market them in a place other than Miami).

I guess in the picture they look chrome, but there not they are stock silver. I would have never bought the car if they were chrome. Haha.

I have them posted on eBay and Craigslist buyer pays shipping cost. Sense they are heavy I don't think it will be a good idea to ship them cause the shipping will be pretty expensive. I posted them thinking someone here local would want them. " miami , florida

Generally it's for people in colder climates who have to deal with ice or snow and need more grip and traction. For people like you and me, we're fine with just 1 set wheels and tires year round.

^Lucky. And I do have mine in the snow, ice, and salt. But cars don't rust in Colorado and if you have a good thick layer of acrylic paint sealant and wax on you're good to go.

If you guys see the cars that come to Miami from NY they sell at used auctions, there undercarriage is completely rusted, brakes, drive shafts etc.
My buddy bought a Chevy Tahoe recently at an auction, car came from NJ. We had to heat up and tap and drill out the differential cover screws to remove the cover. Completely rusted.

I had one guy call me local saying he wanted my rims for his sisters car. He offered me $250. I said no. Yes then told me" come on man it's for my sister and she's broke"

That sounds like a common scam line people use. They buy car parts or cars with their "mechanic friend" lowball you, then use tactics like it's "it's for my little brother he's broke and needs to get to school." Seriously no one living frugally should drive a Mercedes lol

Yup I hear you, btw god forbid I get into an accident or for any reason I have to get ride of my car or I decide to sell it I'm going to take the AMG 19" rims and tires off for the next car, I'll put back on the 16"s. So it's not worth selling them for $200. I'd rather keep them

You have those priced correctly, without tires. The tires look like they could go some miles so that is a pretty good deal. Those wheels came stock on my E320, and I still use them for my winter set-up. I run E55 AMG 18'" twin spoke with PSS in the summer 245/40 front 265/35 rear. Those wheels are not chrome, but are clear-coated polished aluminum. Unfortunately my clear has deteriorated and my wheels are starting to corrode. Spring project for me is stripping the clear off and re-polishing them.
