Please search for it next time: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...diy-style.html
And I would go with the DIY part you can probably find it on Parts.com or RockAuto or another vendor website.

Hahaha I'm probably a lot younger than you are no need to address me as sir, I've been told that the OEM mounts are just fine, I'm sure there may be some aftermarket ones that some forum users like (I'd search more if I were you) but I think that's probably the best deal.

How many miles does your vehicle have?
Just curious, mine is an 03 model and I have 103k miles, and I'm still far from having having to replace motor and trani mounts

More stress from v8 means it will wear down faster. I think dealer replaced mine under warranty when it was at 40k miles lol.

I'm 100% sure they were fine but if dealer wants money from corporate and I get a free new part, why the hell not right?

It's also about the age of the rubber though, your car is 4 years older as well so the rubber may be old. Then again you live in Miami so its humid enough that cracking and drying out is probably not as much of an issue as it is here in Colorado... so you're probably good, if you have any unusual vibration or a feeling of roughness with your engine then it's probably time to get them checked and replaced.

That's a good point about the rubber being older and could have more wear, I really don't feel any vibration or roughness when the gears change etc.
and yes in south Florida is very humid
