E-Class E320 2002
Hi Everyone
Please forgive me if this question has been answered...
I ma helping my friend.. he has a E320 2002 model, with the interiour being two-toned
He had a mark on the steering wheel which he tried to clean with alcool and it ate the paint.. I think it can be painted over (I did this with my SLK interior)
Based on my research the steering wheel is Java.. I am attaching the picture...
Any help would be appreciated!

Where is the mark or ruined area? Because the steering wheel is not painted it's plastic... I know you can probably paint it over with a similar color but it's best just to replace it if it's been damaged - do the repair properly.

Looks like the wheel rim is discolored. It's leather.
Yes, you can get a kit to refinish the steering wheel. Leather "dye" is really just flexible paint, and like anything else you can always add another coat of paint! I have used the brand "leatherique" about 10 years ago and was very satisfied with the product. You can google up their website and likely other vendors.

It's the middle part where the airbag and horn are... I don't have a picture of the scratch.. I guess steering wheel wasn't the best word to express it.. Looking at it it seems like plastic that was painted.. I can see a dark color under it..
