What is Mercedes Benz Flasher IC? (LED)
Looking to buy LED's for my front signals and I saw two options on Aznoptics' website.

One is

1157/ 7528 Bayonet LED (Amber)

Whilst the other is

1157/ 7528 Bayonet LED (Amber) w/ Mercedes Flasher IC

What is the difference??

Figured it out:

For people getting here through searching its to keep the signals from hyper flashing and is compulsory for the front signals I believe

They still won't work in the turn signals, and you'll need to wire up resistors.

According to Aznoptics they are error free and work just fine with the built in resistor

Yes, they will work in w211 turn signals. We've got the proper flasher chip so it's plug and play and have many w211s using them. No need for additional resistor wiring up.
