As I'm shopping for new/used/decent condition mats on eBay got confused.......simple question: are floor mats the same for all W211 or are they different size depending if you have 4matic vs RWD ??

I have a '04 E500 4matic.

They are different, the 4matic has a narrower mid section on the passenger side due to the transmission tunnel width.
I purchased a 4matic set on ebay for my CDI... that's how I know
What color/type are you looking for? Maybe I can sell you mine cheaper so I can get the correct mats

Yes the 4matic and RWD mats are different.
I drive a E320 w211 RWD. I bought these for my car, they are rubber, they snap on like the factory mats, very easy to clean, just snap off and clean with water and soap.

I bought them on Ebay for $118. The dealer wanted $139
