Auto dim mirrors
Hello All - I am curious why they didn't incorporate the auto dim mirror feature for the passenger side rear view mirror. They have for the inside rear view and the drivers side rear view, but not the passenger side. I guess they thought the driver would not get blinded by the passenger side.

Because you don't need it if you know how to properly use the passenger side mirror. Most people mistakenly use the passenger side mirror to have the exact same view as the inside rear view mirror, and the drivers one as well. What you need to do is adjust it so that it points to your blind spot on the passenger side. When you do, you won't get any glare from that mirror at all because by the time the car beside you is seen, his headlights won't be pointing in your mirror. Plus its safer.

I was confused about this too.. but I havent had a problem. The passenger side isnt any more bright than the dimmed driver side or rear view. Its because it a convex mirror to allow more viewing sight, which actually decreases the amount of light reflected... not necessitating the dimming feature. Allows clearer rear view. Makes sense to me. (I thought it was broken at first). Its just wierd to look at one that isnt the same color.
