Happened to me yesterday afternoon. I am aware there was a previous thread on this but there was no resolution posted.

I was accelerating "moderately" around a car turning and the transmission simply disengaged. The shifter was definitely in D and I do not use the manual mode ever. As I was rolling along I took it in and out of D several times. The transmission finally re-engaged after about 15 seconds and I went on my way. Will update when I find out something from the dealer. Not hopeful.

I am saving the Tele-aid, SOS, audio system fiasco which appeared shortly after this for a later post. So now I have to change my plans for the holiday as I do not trust this car to be 4 hours from home with the transmission disengaging, SOS system hearing me but me not hearing them and not even being able to enjoy the Logic 7 (at least the left channel) while I wait for the tow-truck.
