ok i started changing my camshaft sensor magnets since my CEL came on and after getting the code and researching on the net it all pointed towards the camshaft magnets.I have the E550 2008...soo the ones on the left were easy..20min the ones on the right tho...well you know...so from what I saw I have to remove oil cooler and steering pump fluid reservoir,and coolant pipe out of the way...i loosened all the bolts on the reservoir but could not take it off...so I gave up since i'm not familiar with german cars and didn't want to break anything.is there a video on how to replace those sensors...which will most likely include removing the steering pump reservoir and oil cooler..anyone?MB dealer said 2h of labor so I was hoping i'll save myself 200$ LOL

I am in the same boat as you.... just came back from my garage and were unable to remove the sensor on the right exhaust side

There is a clip that sits in a groove on the back of the ps resovoir that has to be removed before it will come off. Use a pick or a flat blade screw driver to remove.

well after i replaced the 2 the check engine light is gone and the car runs smooth.so I guess I lucked out and got the one that was bad.but in case i decide to do it where exactly is that clip?any pictures anywhere or a DIY video?thanks
