2003 E320 LED front Indicator

Received my AZN Optics 1156 amber led for front turn signals, but they don't seem to work for some reason. I have re-installed the amber halogens that still work when put back in. So if anyone has any advice on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

- Get dash errors
- Even though front turn signal lights don't work, the indicator on the dash blinks super fast.

maybe the LED itself is faulty? if the turn light dont work, the indicator on the dash automatically blinks faster than normal to tell you the bulbs busted.

This is a stupid suggestion but in the case they are unidirectional, have you tried plugging them in the other way? If so, make sure they don't get pushed all of the way in either - not sure of this on the LED design - but they state that this can cause heat issues on the city lights if the bottom is making contact, something to do with short circuiting or a resistor or something. Man I'm tired. Either way, AZNOptics has great customer support I encourage you to try to return them if they are faulty as beejay suggested.

I think the 1156 bulb is a bayonete style bulb that you insert and twist...so there is no turning it around the other way or inserting it too far. They need to be canbus 1156 bulbs or have resistors wired into the circuit or they won't work.

Possible you might have needed the 1156's "w/ Mercedes Flashers IC" instead but you purchased the ones without it?

He has the right unit that we've confirmed works with other w211. We're trying to figure out how and why his differs.

The bulb fits in perfectly like the previous halogen, just doesn't want to work. I will try one at a time and hope it works.

I have tested both once at a time with a halogen on either side during the test, still no luck
Also have linked 2 videos I took while the LED was on either side with a halogen.

After looking at the bulb for a good 30 mins again carefully (actually used a magnifying glass) I have some defects/problems that maybe causing the problem.
