Instrument Cluster Out
Hi my fellow Merc enthusisasts!!
This is my first post on the forum because thanks to you amazing people I never had to create a new thread bcz I found solutions to my problems just browsing the website.
BUT
this is the first time I am having a problem that apparently no one ever had before...
I am having issues with the instrument cluster...
The speedo, rev meter, and clock all work fine BUT
the trip computer, milage counter, and the gauges are all out!!
The gauges are working though because I can see the measurements if I use a torch but its just the backlight thats not there.
The trip computer worked at first if headlights were on but now its not showing anything except if there is a "critical error" in red color, e.g. door open while car operating.
i had sent the car for a paint job and since its return the car has this issue.
ANy suggestions as to what might be wrong? did a star diagnosis and showed nothing.
any help willl be greatly appreciated!!!!
