Limp Mode
Hi Guys,
My car went into limp mode yesterday afternoon with no reason. All I remember is that I pressed S/C button, nothing change. This is while I'm driving, when I pulled over put it in park and drive again and my car won't go over 35 mph, make home and park it for couple hours. I started fine and pressed S/C button and it change from S to C, now car seem to work fine but question is what did it happen. Any one experience this problem? Please share now I little bit scare. Thanks.
PS, This happened on my E350

I even tried to push to the right but RPM won't go down at all. Now this is might very stupid question but I have to ask, I don't ever drive in manual mode but now carious how do you drive it in manual mode? Do you have to do something to it? Thanks.

The shifter will change gears up/down by moving it left/right while in drive. Separate function from C/S. Top gear allowed will be displayed on instrument cluster. Basically allows you to hold it in a lower gear like putting a traditional automatic shifter in 2 or 3.
