Ac won't turn on
My ac won't turn on. The dealer says it needs a multi function sensor and a temp pressure switch. Is this a DIY, or do I need to suck it up and have the dealer do the repair?

Out Of Control!!
The issue is evacuating the freon and then replacing the faulty parts. Then refilling the system. Do you have one of those machines!!
If you know an AC shop you can trust who will work with you supplying the parts I would go that route, however that means you have to supply the overhead of searching for the correct part and purchasing the part bla bla!!

My friend owns a repair shop and has a new ac machine. He's just not too familiar with mercedes. After talking with the service manager the repair seem fairly strait forward. Per the service manager the part is under the dash near the heater core.
The ac is working after they reset the system. However they advised it will probably fault again after a few hours of being parked. I guess I will find out when I get out of work if it tripped again.
Any idea on the best way to access the temp pressure switch?
