I definitely remember going through the process you're in now, I'm excited and it's not even my own car! Did you also get your roof wrapped? Lookin gooooood.
Now that you got rid of your black wheels, any plans to part with the darker accents (headlight tint, black badges, etc.)?
I already changed the hood star to a flat. Im also planning on changing the headlight tints to pacific blue. To match the windows. Heres one photo i took, do you reckon i should take the tint out?

Again, not my car, but just my opinion. Yes I would take off the tint and leave it that way. The black theme doesn't flow well with your new wheels IMO. Since your wheels were pretty much same finish as mine, I'll just say, I was going to add a CF lip, and CF side skirt extensions to tie in the CF diffuser I had and that was it, no more CF/black accents. The chrome trim, headlight accents, grill, badges all matched the finish of my wheels and that's how I liked it, but again, that was me, this is you.
However, your car does look MUCH better than when you had black wheels on it lol.
Ill see if i can take out the headligh tints this weekend. I already have the CF lip. I didnt know theres a CF sideskirt. Where can I find one?
I dont think anyone makes one specific for a W211, but I had a local guy that was willing to make it for me. I heard you can hit up APR and get a block of CF and cut it to fit your car.
Got the tints out. It was a pita to remove. Sanded it with grit 1000 then 2000 then polished. Cant say its as good as new but youre right, a lot better without the tints. Some before and after shots...i promise to take better photos of the whole car when i get the chance.

Just needs to be lowered and you're golden!
Shes already lowered with H&R mate. Not really happy especially with the front but ive been back and forth with this and now with the front lip, i dont think i can go any lower or ill scrape everytime in my garage.

Much better! I think H&R's have a dead coil but not too sure. Regardless, it's come a long way sir and is starting to come together nicely
For sure man, a matter of style and taste but damn does it make a difference in how hot the interior of the car gets sitting in the sun, which I'm sure you Aussies know all too well. Just curious, what are the laws on tint in AU?

NSW law states a minimum of 35% VLT (Visible Light Transmission) so its not that dark but some people get away with darker than legal but i reckon its just a matter of time before they get pulled over. It can get really hot here especially during the summer. Like Vegas hot!
09W211, its either dark tint or no tint at all. Still thinking about it.
Drag0na5h, its good to read from you again mate! Thanks for the compliment! I promised everybody here for more photos! Ive just been very busy for the past weeks but ill definitely do it soon. Thanks again!
