Engine ticking 1500-2200 rpms when hot
Hello,
i saw a lot of posts about this, but i'm not sure is my problem the same.
I had problem with injectors('03, 270CDI, 5-inline). When engine is hot 70,80 degrees, when increase the speed slowly, from 1300-1500 to 2000-2300 rpms, there is some ticking from the engine. The ticking is not hard noise. I repaired all 5 injectors in BOSCH service. Before repair, when tested, results was out of normal values.
After the injectors was repaired, the ticking noise was still there, but not so loud. I back to service, from the service check again and said everything is OK.
They put brand new injectors in the engine, i saw it with my eyes. Test the car with the new injectors, and still there is the same noise. From the service told me that this is normal for that car, and there is nothing to worry.
I'm not sure that this is normal for car like E-class.
What do you think about this guys?
