Manually Closing Panoramic Sunroof

Manually Closing Panoramic Sunroof
Only one side, the ride side, of my panoramic sunroof is open. I need for it to be closed temporarily, around a week, and was wondering if I could close it manually so the right side closes just as the left side is. Thanks in advance guys.

How's that possible? You've got independent sun roof or something?

I have gotten it closed, sorry for the late response. And hahaha, obviously there is such thing! Okay, so to give a better description, the sunroof has two railings, one on the driver and the other on the passenger, the Passenger side was 1-2 inches away from being completely closed, where as the driver side is completely closed. When I tried to close the sunroof, and click the button, I receive the infamous "machine gun" noise from the motor that opens and closes the sunroof. I did have it manually closed by a local german auto center, just curious to whether or not anyone else has had this problem, what the cost was to fix, and what parts needed fixing? I will find out myself in a few weeks but I just wanted to know before I walked into the dealer. Just some need to know stuff on what's going on. Thanks. Sorry for the previous unavailable clarity lol.

I had the same problem; the dreaded machine gun sound and the sunroof was partially open in the middle of South Florida's rain season.
I used the tool inside of the glove compartment to manually close the sunroof.
You have to carefully disassemble the left light switch in the mirror. Here you will find the place were you can insert the tool and manually crank the sunroof to the desired position.

Help
My 2008 Mercedes E550 the panoramic roof is opened only on one side, it’s tilted while the left side is fully closed. When I try to close it, it will make a “machine gun” sound. Has anyone had this problem and solved it ??? Any help email me at omarelsum@gmail.com
