Where does this part go.....

I found a part (#A211 626 06 30) in my engine compartment. it had fallen between the radiator fan area; but it doesent appear to belong there. It's some kind of cover; Sorry-i can't figure out how to attach a photo of it. I spent time checking all possible places, but no luck. According to google, it's something to do with "front radiator cover".

Any help appreciated, thx!

Hi- thanks for the quick response. @konigstiger- It def. is item #290 in the chart. I've been planning to subscribe to EPC for the longest, but since i access the forum mostly from work, didnt want to download the access from work. Anyways, will check around engine bay and figure it out.
I'll kick myself when i realize it was right there....

So, I checked the engine compartment, THOROUGHLY, both left & right sides near the firewall and front of the car: No place to put this cover. I even remove that plastic cover thingy(on the left side of engine) with frills; still no place to attach my part. BTW, is that the brake fluid resivour under there?
I've concluded it may be something not visible from above. I hope i dont have to remove parts to apply this cover.
Anyone has any other suggestions??

Thx all, D.

Yes, that ebay link is the exact part I have. I will check under the hood-catch for any possible place. I'm thinking a tech or previous owner must have forgotten to replace it, since all tabs on it are not broke (which would have casue it to fall off). I'm glad no alarms are goin off indicating any malfunctions...SMH

Just checked my car and Konigstiger is correct. The cover fits under the passenger side hood latch. (there is no sensor or cover on the driver side.)

I can see that if it was knocked off it would land exactly where you found it. Why that Ebay auction states it's a radiator bracket is beyond me.
