2008 SL600

Saying Goodbye To The E55

Picked up a hell of a deal on a 2008 SL600 and had to jump on it. I've always liked the SL class but the poor middle class folk like me have to either over reach/pay for a newer one or go further back in years.

I got a good deal from a good, responsible owner.

Thanks man, I live and work in Gilbert. I am doing the Eurocharged ECU/TCU tune as soon as I get the car here from Vegas. I've got to pull them out and send them over to EC.

Sweet ride! i remember my boss used to give me his SL55 to pick up stuff at Staples . At that time i was 18-19 and SL was like SLS or SLR now(it least it felt like)! what a ride!!! And that retractable hardtop made all other cabrios look like crap! is it expense today to maintain this kinda car?

I remember seeing lots of R230s on the road.. Not much of R231 these days. New York was crowded with R230 they disappeared now.. I only saw R231 once maybe twice.
