2008 211 E350 Wheel Upgrade ???
Hey I currently have 245/40/18 18x8.5 38mm offset on my vehicle now. Would these fit my car? http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/m...529458186.html

I'm no expert, but....
The bigger the offset the more 'inward' the wheel is.
Your current offset is 38mm or almost 1.5 inches, with 8.5 inch wide wheels.
The Craigslist wheels are half an inch thinner with an offset of 45mm, or about 1.8 inches.
So you'd be decreasing your stance a bit, as well as losing a bunch of rubber on the road.
Do you really want that?

The posting expired but Hondo is right, assuming the wheels are the same size. I see Hondo said 1/2" thinner so I assume they are 8". If they were 9" or even 10"...the different offset would be needed to fit the wheels in roughly the same placement.
Also, I see the posting was in DC - remember Sonic Tuning is in Rockville. They sell various wheels for our cars. I don't work for them, but I bought a set of repos from them.
