need to replace audio 50 in order to have AUX and Bluetooth ... My only option is to get a $500 nav system? Any cheaper options?

Do you want an aux port specifically? They make an OEM iPod integration

i know mercedes was also supposed to come out with the one for with the lightning cable for the new ipods at the beginning of this year, i have looked around yet to see if it's available but that is the one i am waiting on.

you can also find them cheaper than this amazon listing, i want to say i was going to pay $75 for on ebay? i may be mistaken but i do know it was cheaper than $125

i don't think it's going to work. It say Requires COMAND radio head unit.

Mine is just standard unit.

i'm pretty sure you don't need a COMAND

i believe you just need a HK sound system because it runs off of optics, the iPod integration taps into the lines not the actual unit. Maybe you need the channel on the COMAND to make it work though? not sure..

from the installs i have seen online, it's basically a t tap that jumps into the optics just before the actual head unit.
