E320 W211 LED Parking Light Issue

Hello Everyone! My first post here!
I upgraded the dim bulbs in the parking light position and the drivers side works fine, but the passenger side is bright for a moment, then goes dim. It even stays lit when the car is off. Any help? Also- My trunk close button no longer lights up and does not work. I am super new to the MB world and do not want to go poking around and making something worse.

Thank you so much!!

Kevin

You need to use canbus led bulbs. Just do a quick search on amazon.com for "canbus led" to find the bulbs you'll need.

Yep, I did. One side works fine, the other doesn't. I swapped the bulbs from the socket and even the bulb connector and still the same passenger side low lit bulb. It stays on even when I turn the lights off. What can I check? Now my deck lid push button trunk won't close or even light up. I will check the fuses too.

Ok- Follow up- So I could not locate the fuse for the deck lid closure button. I have looked around the internet for a possible solution. It literally worked the other day. Again- It does not light up, and is non responsive. How can I check this for the "cut wire" issue? Where can I look for recall items?

Sorry so many questions, I just love this car and don't want it going to crap because it is only 3 months old to me.
