Well she's back on the market now that I have the time, decided to drop the price to a very fair $16,499. I know I'm supposed to post in the classifieds as well - and I did - but wanted to get as much presence as possible.
About 134,000 miles but all near Arnott Air Suspension and tons of work done over my two previous years of ownership. She's my baby and you all know how meticulously I maintain her and take care of the paint. PM me for more information, here is the Craigslist ad with more:
Right?? I know Craigslist isn't the best area to sell a Mercedes but still, when you have one photo for such a big investment it kind of defeats the purpose of the listing.
None unfortunately, thanks for asking though have it posted on here and Craigslist. Will be listing it on Cars.com but that's about it. I was considering going through a broker but I hear they take a large %
For sure I'll post on both cars.com and autotrader tonight, thanks for the advice. I just need to time this right as far as selling and buying a new car with my fall quarter about to start up at college.
Nice listing, but as someone who has used craigslist to both buy and sell MBs, I would like to see more interior shots. What does the drivers seat cushion look like? Other seats as well. Console and wood too. Show the IC with the engine on so the potential buyer can see there are no problems. Take some time to think about what you would like to see if you were buying the car long distance. Pics need to be bright with no shadows. We all know you here, but someone on craigslist doesn't. Make the pics show you have nothing to hide. GLWS..
I've also used Cargurus.com. I think when I found my car it was on cars.com and also cargurus. I used autotrader also, but it's not as easy to use since they redesigned it. And yes, it would probably help to have a few more pictures. If you look at the ads, most of them pretty much have standard shots, some do 4 shots of each wheel so you can check for curb rash, a picture of the trunk, the dash, the buttons on the door. I liked to see the shifter just to see if the car had keyless go or if it's just the Mercedes star. Top of the trunk if it had the trunk closer. Some also do a picture of the VIN plate by the door so you can see the month/year it was made. Picture of the sunroof, either from inside or outside, I think an inside shot is better. Most dealers tend to have 30+ pictures although some over do it on the exterior shots just to show it doesn't have scratches.

I was just browsing and this post caught me by surprise.. Good luck on the sale, but if you dont mind me asking, what made you come to the decision of selling it?
I think you should lower the price only because AMGs are driving the prices down on all other Mercedes especially V8s. My CLS55 that has 121k and I won't be surprised if I get 18k for it. For $1500 more than your asking, someone can have an AMG at this point. How I love Mercedes depreciation.

I need an AMG, nothing more to it I'm looking at a 2006 CLS55 and I'll do pulley and tune and smash most everything out there. My major issue is I live almost 6000ft above sea level, and while the E550 is powerful and I don't drag it, I recently took a ride in a friends E55 up at Bandimere and it was awe-inspiring.

Good point man, I'm open for offers but will probably go down to 15k.
massive price drop! really, GLWS mate! hope you change your mind to an E63 so you can stay on this side of the forum! but a CLS55 is a dream for me too!

Couldntve put it better, I frequently think about finally coming over to the AMG side but am always pre occupied with more important things. Definitely keep me posted on what you get. Kind of giving me ideas now.
I figure I won't miss the E550 much if I am in an AMG Jasin, kind of my line of thought as well. I was considering getting a 335i for a while and leaving the Mercedes brand all together but I snapped out of it lol.
