Kinda bummed

I special ordered a Brabus steering wheel for my E500. They didnt have birds eye maple and charcoal in stock for the W211 so they had to special order it from Germany. I finally got it like a few weeks ago and had it installed. The fit is perfect and all the controls work fine. What Im bummed about, is that no where on the steering wheel did it say Brabus. I had the same wheel on my W210 E55 and it said Brabus on the lower right side, close the the 4 oclock mark. I called Brabus and they said that the new wheels dont have the name stamped on it. Then why in the world would anyone buy their parts? Anyone could pick up a Taiwan made wheel and say its Brabus. I got a great deal on mine, before they raised their prices so it wasnt too bad, but still Id like it to say Brabus if I paid for Brabus. Just my two cents.

I'm not really in the market at the moment for a Brabus wheel, but i can fully understand your frustration. Given that there is probably no functional advantage, where does the extra $$$ come in???

wow, that is wierd, and i would also be mad. your right about just getting a fake one, maybe they buy them from a smaller company for very cheap which would maybe get them more profits? thats kinda wierd though
