CDC wrong track number

CDC wrong track number
Anyone have this problem?
When I start the car and the CDC comes on, the comand always displays Track 1 no matter where on the CD it is. If I hit next or previous it fixes it but its kinda bugging me.

BTW, managed to get rid of my C this week for a good deal. Now I can enjoy the new car witout having to worry. Now I just have to redo the tint for the fifth time and I will be happy.

yea, this is a known glitch in the changer, but i still dont think my changer does this, hopefully your dealer can do something about it

You can find more details in an earlier thread in the W211 E55 forum. Basically that's the way it works - it will be variable depending how far along the track is.
