lowering question
question...
do you still have the springs for the non-sport W211 320?? If so, do you know if lowering the car causes rubbing if I've got 19s with 245/35/19 fronts and 285/30/19 rears?? Also, I believe you've answered a similar question before about using sport springs with stock shocks, you said the shocks would likely wear out faster, but do you know how this particular setup would make the ride feel?? Thank you...

Lowering question
Yes i still have the springs in stock. Lowering them without changing the shocks will be fine. Rubbing wise we have to take a look at the offset of the car. Sometimes you might need to roll the fenders and sometimes you don't need too. It all depends how low you are going to drop them.
Thank you
Thank you

Eurorev,
My car has 18" rims and no airmatic. If I want to lower it just a bit to remove the minor fender gap, but don't want to suffer a hit on ride quality, what are my lowering options?
What manufacturers sell springs for W211?
What about shocks? Do you need them replaced?
Best,
Kris

you can lower the car with the H&R springs that are on sale. the only way you can lower your e320 is with springs or cupkit or coilover. the cheapest solution is springs. if you dont cut the springs then the ride will still be fine. bu if you dont cut the springs there will still be a small gap. inorder to have no gap you will need to cut.
