Hi all. First time poster (long time lurker)
I just wanted to let everyone know I picked up my new E320 (Obs. Blk/Ash, Appearance, Premium) Monday night, and I'm loving it! Now for all the tweaks *sigh* Any tips on the following would be appreciated:
Thanks to the many posters on this board I was directed to Mr. Mark Newton at House of Imports here in SoCal. He and the others there made the entire process totally painless and smooth. Though I've been sort of looking for some months, it wasn't until the beginning of the month that I starting contacting dealers, etc. What I initially told them all was 'I want a black/ash 320 w/ app., premium, and 4zone.' Mark replied within minutes! I only just heard back from one of the others mid-last week :/ Turned out there were two pretty close to what I wanted - one had more bells and whistles than I wanted and the other was obs and didn't have 4zone and was still on a boat (slated for Dec 22 docking.) Anyway, I decided (obviously) to go for the later. We worked out all the details and then I just waited. Mark kept me updated on a daily basis on the status of my car (more than daily sometimes.) And was able to let me know that the boat arrived early and that I'd actually get the car before Xmas. All in all, a GREAT experience!

- Good tint shops in Los Angeles or surrounding
- Shops in LA that can do COMAND mods (rolling DVD, etc.)
- A good detailer (maybe one that will do Zaino for my lazy butt) Also maybe one in the N Orange County area?
- AMG wheels(?)

I agree on dealing with Mark...one of the smoothest purchases I have had since my first 280E back in 1977.
