2007 E320 cdi transmission ecu problems
Hi guys im currently trying to get to the bottom of my 722.9 transmission not engaging any gears. I have star C3 and have plugged it into this car and scanned it and cannot seem to communicate with the transmission control module. Everytime I try I get this message:
-Initial startup after repair N15/3 [EGS] control unit
-Press f2 to continue
-Menu item "Repair" is only available if a control unit with MB object nbumber A003 446 03 10 is installed..
I think somewhere along the line I have attempted to reinitialise the tranny ecu becuase I couldnt get it to throw any codes that I need to get the replacement valve body unit..
Does anyone know how I can get around this issue? Im pretty sure I need a new valve body (common failure on 2007 722.9) but I cannot get the fault codes required to order the new part, apparently they will not sell you this part unless you have current fault codes!!
