Hi I am new to the Benz World forum I have a problem I need help with.
First I'll tell where it all started. I was driving from St Louis to Pigion Forge
at about 400 mi into the trip the car went into a LHM mode it would still reach
speeds but was like driving a non turbo diesel no power.But no CEL on arivel
to my hotel turned car off 1/2 hr later it started an ran with no problem the
rest of a week trip. When I arrived home the CEL came on had it checked
at a local shop they said that a P0101 MAFS they turned the lite off and
aid to drive it to see if lite comes on again if so the MAFS would need replacing. The CEL came back on. So I ordered a MAFS from europarts sd.
and installed it turned off CEL but the lite came back on.and a new OBD read
said MAFS P0101. All this time the car runs great no problem.
My question is what could be making the CEL to come on?
PS There is a lot of oil in the air duct and in the front of the turbo.
