Lighting: Is this correct.....

After doing a search I have found the following that everyone think is the best match with the Bi Xenons:

Foggies: Metal White H11
Parking Light (inner light): PIAA 19172 (wedge bulb)
High Beams: PIAA H7

Just want to make sure if this is correct. If there are new bulbs that matches even better please let me know.

Thanks!

Cool

Hi,
there was a long posting with a lot of pics before the first crash of this forum. After reading this one, I ordered a pack of PIAA 19169 bulbs for the parking lights.

Since I pick up my car on 01/02 I cannot send you any pics right now, but I will do later.

So far
Michael

Which PIAA H7 bulbs are you getting? I went for Platinum White and I haven't noticed much improvement, I think the Xtreme White would be better.

Mortenstein: Congrats on your soon to be new car. Post some pics!

RichardM: I'm planning to pick up the Extreme White H7 for the high beams. I ordered the foggies Metal White H11 yesterday and I'll pick up the PIAAs 19172 and H7s at the local shop sometime this week. I'll also ask the local speed shop here what they recommend for the high beams.

The latest bulbs released by PIAA is Plasma Spark Blue(7500K). You may want to get those as they're claimed as the closest match bulbs to xenon.
One of my friend got them on his car, and it looks great
Here's the link of one of stores that I found selling them:

Thanks for the heads up. I see this is the H7 so must be for the high beam. Thanks again.

I'm confused. I thought that if you had bi-xenons, the high beams were xenons, not H7 halogens. I have a 2000 e320 with European xenons and have been trying to get a high beam bulb to match. My high beams are yellow even compared to the halogen fog lamps.

Congrats on the new ride!

I believe that the xenons are in the 4000-4300k range. Sunlight is around 6000k. If you want them to match, you want the kelvin range to be as close to the range of the bulbs that you want to match. I heard that the PIAA 19169's were a better match to the factory xenons, and the 172's were too blue. I guess it's a matter of personal preference though. I've got to order some too, but want to get it right the first time. Good Luck!!
