Mercedes E320 Bluetec 2008 Turbocharger Under Boost Condition
I have Mercedes E320 Bluetec 2008. My engine lost power and gave me codes that it has turbocharger under boost and over boost condition. I went to Mercedes for diagnostics and replaced Pressure Boost Sensor as diagnostics show. After replacing sensor nothing changed. Can anyone give me a hint what should I check next? Thank you.

Out Of Control!!
I can't believe the company was an authorized MB dealer----Take the car back to the company that did the diagnostics as they did not solve the problem!! It's their problem not yours!!
PS---does this have anything to do with your yesterdays post and your misunderstanding of your car!!

I agree with Plutoe. Find a real mechanic - Mercedes or not - and have a diagnostic. Seems like most dealers and "mechanics" now are just parts changers. My FIL (RIP) was a Ford mechanic...you could start to tell him a problem based on symptoms and before you were finished explaining he would give you two or three things to check. The one he stated was most likely the cause - was the cause 99% of the time.

Thank you guys. I thought the same. Dealer wants to charge for diagnostics every time you come. I will try to get it again since diagnostics were inaccurate.

I had an a similiar issue on mine, it would go into limp mode. It had a code for too low boost pressure. The morons at the dealer tried to tell me it needed intakes and a "possibly" a turbo charger, all for the low, low price of $5600. I am glad I got a second opinion, it was the right side inter cooler hose, it had a hole/leak on it, $250 to fix. All good now. The moral of the story, stay away from dealers with diesel's, they are absolutely incompetent. Find a good independent shop that knows diesels and turbo.

Mercedes E320 2008 Turbocharger Underboost/Overboost Condition
I have underboost/overboost turbocharger condition. What can cause it? I replaced turbocharger pressure boost sensor and checked pipes and hoses, everything seems in place and no cracks or holes. Turbocharger actuator was broken and I send it to europe and it was fixed. I place it back and problem didn't go away. Does anybody knows what can cause the actuator not working right? Where can I buy new turbocharger actuator? Thank you!
