Battery Time
2006 E350 4matic. 95k miles. Believe it or not ... original main and aux batteries still in use. I'd like to replace both prior to the winter season. Can someone please recommend non-mercedes option for both? AGM for both batteries? Something as easy as Die Hard Gold okay for this? thanks in advance ... much appreciated.

The best price right now for an AGM battery is from Amazon, it's an ACDelco 49 battery. It's $145.79 plus there's a 25% off coupon which you clip so it makes it $109.35 with free shipping. Says it ships in 1-2 months. Some reviews aren't too happy with the condition of the battery as UPS tends to really beat them up. Then there's the usual AGM batteries from various auto parts store such as Advance auto, which has it for $189 and there's a $50 off coupon code you can find at various sites which brings it down to $139. Pepboys has a Bosch for $200 and they have a 25% off code which brings it down to $150.
As for the Aux battery, don't know about that, but there are old threads where people mention just getting a motorcycle battery and paying under $100.
