Quick offset Question for a w211 4Matic
Hi Guys, new member here.
Had a quick question regarding offsets on a w211 E350 4Matic,
Im aware that the stock offsets are ET38 but would 18x8.5 ET32 all around wheels work? I tried looking on the forums but couldn't get a concrete answer for a w211 4matic with an offset of 32.
Also the car is not going to be lowered so what would my best tire dimension be without rubbing or going too crazy.
I was thinking either of the two sizes:
235/40-18 all around
or 235/35-18 all around?
I live in MA and roads are not the best around here. Does the depth between 40 and 35 make a huge difference?

What year is your car and what rims do you have on it now? If you have the 17's, the stock tires on the sports package was 18 and they used 245/40/18's. The drawback with bigger rims and low profile tires is that they're much more likely to be damaged and you're more likely to pop a tire with a 35 than a 40, but it happens even to 40's.

Yes the offset for the sport configuration was 245/40/18 with ET38. Thats why I was thinking of going with a 235 wide tire instead of 245. Im sure il be clearing the suspensions but what about rubbing on the outer fenders?
I have a better chance of not rubbing with a 235 width tire on a 8.5 width rim with ET32 than with a 245 width tire on the same rim correct?
