Phone Option
I am thinking about getting the phone option installed in my car with voice activation. Is it worth the money? Does anyone know where I can go to look at its features?

Yes it's expensive but oh so convienent. Another plus with voice - I use that to select my radio stations overcoming the steering wheel disaster

At almost $2500 for the dealer install...is it worth it? I really don't know--especially considering that you are locked into a particular phone (almost outdated now) with a particular carrier. If they had the universal module available, I woulda recommended it whole heartily.
I use the phone daily, and it's a real time saver with tons of safety...but not worth 2.5K in my opinion.

If you can afford the $1995, it's definitely worth it. It's a real convenience and a timesaver. The only negative is that it's difficult to use with the top down.

Hello all, I signed up for MB service Web site. I seen their step by step install guide to install the phone. ( does not look hard to do)
Has anyone try to do this on their own?
I've downloaded the PDF. (should any one need it)
